The Multiplex Association of India (MAI) and cinema halls across the country are celebrating National Cinema Day on 16 September
by offering tickets at a flat price of Rs 75.
This will come as a surprise to the movie watchers,
who will have to spend Rs. 200-300 for this. a single ticket.
The announcement came after United States cinemas said they would celebrate
their National Cinema Day on September 3 and would offer tickets for as little as $3.
Through this initiative cinema halls also want to invite
who have not yet started going to cinemas after the pandemic.
One-day only discounts will be available at over 4,000 participating theaters.
